Serenity Stream's first graduating class began in January 2010!  If you missed the first class be sure to prepare for this year's training - classes start September 16th 2011!

Serenity Stream's Yoga Teacher Training is based on our unique Conscious Flow Technique, combining Vinyasa Flow with intense focus on alignment of the body.  Join Sherry Smith on this journey that will change your life and the lives of others.

 

Upon Certification You Will:

  • Have a solid background for teaching Hatha Conscious Flow Yoga suitable for many organizations and situations
  • Earn a 200-hour Conscious Flow Yoga Teaching Certificate
  • Beable to apply for Yoga Alliance 200-hour certification
  • Be knowledgable in anatomy and biomechanics
  • Be able to structure and create a cohesive, well-rounded class
  • Acquire an understanding of yoga philosophy, pranayama, chakras and meditation
  • Be able to safely adjust students and spot misalignments
  • Acquire the skills necessary to structure a yoga class intelligently, taking into account your students' needs
  • Understand the principles that unite the traditions of yoga derived from the teachings of Sri T Krishnamachrya

 All this for $2500 (plus the cost of food and accomodations*) 

The schedule:

Each class is on the weekend for your convenience.  One weekend a month for 6 months,  including a 5 day intensive at a beach location (*cost for food and accomodations for 5 day intensive, not included). 

Weekend Hours

Friday night:  6pm to 9pm

Saturday and Sunday: 7:30am to 5pm

November 11-13

December 9-11 We'll spend the entire weekend with Fabulous Betty Eiler!
